The following are shopping lists that are straight out of my notebook. Since becoming a plant-based foodist, I’ve managed to have the consistency of what I purchase on a weekly basis. Note, you can adjust or tweak it per your preference. All items listed are usually included in the recipes I share.
If you notice, I don’t include soy products like tofu or processed meat alternatives. Those products can come plant-based but usually go through processes that are harmful to the body.
Note, each photo is categorized based on the type of product. There are times you might not be able to purchase all what is listed at the farmers market. You might have to go to different stores to get each item listed. Legumes, seeds and nuts are a great option to buy in bulk since they last longer in the pantry. Superfoods are another product you can buy in bulk or purchase online. When it comes to fruits and greens, don’t overbuy since they tend to go bad rather quickly if not prepared within a week or two.
