In Los Angeles, there are loads of vegan restaurants to choose from but it can be difficult to choose which one to go to. The options available vary from different cuisines to various types of settings.
On account of myself being an avid lover of vegan food and a whole plant-based foodist, after attempting to find the best vegan restaurants, I narrowed down my results.
If you are looking for a variety of tasty meals that meet your diet standards, continue to read. I highlight some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles that are well-known and/or considered hidden gems.
Auc Lac
I’ve personally celebrated my birthday at Auc Lac numerous times not only because of the beautiful space but also, due to its impressive vegan Vietnamese dishes! Not all my friends are vegan, so when they tasted their so-called chicken plates, they were amazed at how gratifying it was.
Moreover, Au Lac is perfect for dinner dates, special occasions, or a quick lunch with a settling ambiance. Their menus offer a variety of Asian infused choices to choose from, including juices and teas.

In their menu, you will notice organic foods from local farmers and are considered environmentally friendly. The menu offers Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and American cuisine. There is every type of food at Cafe Gratitude that will fit any person’s taste buds.
Lastly, the lovely vegan restaurant takes the meaning of the term gratitude towards food to another level. A neat tradition they have is to ask guests to begin ordering by stating “I am…” then declare their menu option which ideally being like “Lucky,” “Fortunate,” “Gracious,” and much more.

The Butchers Daughter
The Butchers Daughter is a 100% vegetarian restaurant and a gem located in Venice, California. The interior design embodies an old butcher shop with feminine touches.
In addition to the decor, the menu coveys mostly vegetarian food which is available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner time. It’s obvious when the chefs created the menu; they considered all the different kinds of diets. The restaurant has options that meet the restrictions of vegan eaters, raw foodists, vegetarians, and those who are sensitive to gluten. All dishes are tapa sized; therefore, if you’re starving, you would probably order multiple tapas.
On the weekends, while you enjoy your dinner, there is a talented lounge house DJ playing music which contributes to a sexy and modern environment. If you choose to come between Friday and Sunday, I suggest making reservations since The Butchers Daughter gets busy.
