I recently attended the Spring Edition of Crssd Festival in San Diego, California. Recognizing that the location was beautiful, the lineup was another component which satisfied the experience.
It consisted of acts like the bass house DJ Anna Lunoe, techno queen Nicole Madouber, Dirtybird family who include Billy Kenny, Walker & Royce, and Shiba San. There are many more to name; however, only one really left an imprint with his breathtaking live performance.
He at first appeared with a creative style of trip-hop and has since investigated more energetic methodologies while trying different things with jazz music. His electronic sound joins the utilization of natural instrumentation which would be reproduced by a full band among his live performances. Bonobo’s style is adapted to beats and samples but leads a soothing atmosphere combining your typical club and world music. In other words, his music is pleasant enough to urge you to tap your feet and yet leaves you in a peaceful state.

His successful musical path began from the moment he released his first debut album, “Animal Lover”. It was a clear message that he mastered live electronica without imitating a typical producer in the scene.
Bonobo’s recent album “Migration” received a double nomination with the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. The album consisted of “Bambro Koyo Ganda” that was nominated as the Best Dance Recording on top of the album already selected as the Best Dance/Electronic Album.
